Attacking Donald is as pardonable as those who sought to kill Mike Pence & Nancy Pelosi.
That is an unintended result from the pardoning of the insurrectionists.
There is no law and order anymore as political assassination is concerned.
I hope DTunderstood just what he was condoning.

Diminishing returns

Form a network of joys so that no one thing is your lifeline.
Reinvest with the ones that begin to recede.
A new couse of entry might open up a tributary that brings the source back to a resplendent resevoir of joie de vivre.

That God created the universe (and beyond) in 6 days has always been touted as a great acheivemnt.
Is there anybody else besides me who wishes a fee more days were taken to get it right. Afterall, the human species could definitely been improved.

Decay

I battle in my mind between its beauty and repulsiveness.

We even travel across seas to distant continents to visit ruins yet spend large sums to restore or replace everything we own, including our bodies.

Elation or despair. Usually a mixture of both.

Seeing an announcement that a 40 year reunion of R.E.M.s Fables of the Reconstruction was underway, I asked myself if I wanted to participate.
Nostalgia is a dangerous drug.
Then I saw it was actor Michael Shannon and Superchunk's Jason Narducy and not R.E.M. playing.
I'm confused. WTF?

Today I listened to Joe and Mika defend the decision to cut a "flipant" remark regarding the prevalent drunkeness of on-air personalities at Fox News by The Atlantic's David Frum.
Is it true? If so, it's a story. Pursue it.
If not, David shouldn't claim censorship for not eing allowed to slander.

Pete Hegseth is telling senators John Tower-like pledges he won't drink when in charge of the Defense Department. I'm an ex-drinker who is in long time, ACTIVE recovery. Anyone who has had a husband/wife with an unchecked drinking or abuse problem knows, a promise is absolutely meaningless. Vote no!

Christmas market shopping yesterday. I had fun time talking to the vendors and hanging with my pal, Barb.
I'm refraining from buying ornaments this year. What I've bought in just the past three years can fill my tree. I have enough for five trees if I go deep into my storage. Bought these as gifts.

Here I am with my grandson (step-daughter)
He just turned one. He's a winderful gift to my world.
