Today's #MurderSheWrote episode of the day is S1E7 "Hit, Run and Homicide". This episode finds Jessica Fletcher playing an arcade game with her pal Ethan Cragg. The game in question is "Spy Hunter", which was one of the most popular arcade games to be released in 1984!

Today's episode is S1E6 "Lovers and Other Killers". This was one of the earliest episodes to be filmed (as only scenes from this episode and the Pilot were included in the opening montage). It was also filmed on location in Seattle, making it one of the few episodes to be filmed outside California.

Season 1's "It's a Dog's Life" is memorable for featuring a plot in which a dog is arrested for murder. It's also the first to feature one of Jessica's relatives who is never mentioned again.

In "Hooray for Homicide", Jessica Fletcher discovers that her first novel is being adapted into a terrible movie. Notably, the movie poster for "The Corpse Danced at Midnight" that is seen in this episode was inspired by posters for Boris Karloff's "The Walking Dead". #MurderSheWrote

Today's #MurderSheWrote episode of the day is "Birds of a Feather". This episode introduces viewers to Jessica Fletcher's niece Victoria and her husband-to-be Howard.
Aside from several of its guest stars, the episode is also notable for featuring several scenes filmed on location in San Francisco.

Today's #MurderSheWrote episode of the day is "Deadly Lady" which marks the first episode where the murder mystery takes place in #CabotCove. The episode was filmed extensively in and around Mendocino and Fort Bragg in California.

Starting off a series of daily #MurderSheWrote posts with the pilot episode: "The Murder of Sherlock Holmes". When the show was first being pitched to producers, they recorded these scenes with Jessica talking to the camera - which establish that events in the Pilot happened 3 years before Season 1.
