Whenever I see a new branded drug name, I send it to my husband and he provides me with an etymology for the word. This account is about to turn into the forum for that, because something so nerdy and ridiculous needs to be shared.

Drove 100 miles round trip the Friday before a holiday to see a doctor for 5 minutes because my insurance isn’t so sure I should still get to have the medicine the doctor prescribed me… 3 months ago. Make it make sense.

Nothing like a small person at home with a fever to remind you that very very few things on your work list are ACTUALLY immovable objects. Amazing how meetings can move and deadlines can shift when they really need to.

Are task forces usually fun? No. Are they usually productive? No. Do you learn about key administrative details and functions that you could not have learned in any other context? Frequently yes!
