I may very well have to play offline to stop updates if they decide to roll back on the progressive iconography in future updates.

Y'all need to stop expecting everything of Black women.

What do you mean abandoned? What was she to do when she wasn't elected? Y'all need to put this pressure on the non-voters and especially the Trump voters for putting y'all in this situation

Very interesting, especially given how the ways they kept Black people from success have been more frowned upon as time went on.

Yeah, you aren't permanently tied to them, you don't have to manage expenses for a child along with yourself, no court battles regarding a child, no hounding for child support, no stress from a child on top of mental struggles. It makes sense to be glad.

That sounds horrific, escaping a domestic violence situation just to be put in an all-male facility away from her newborn child, and likely in pain from not being able to nurse. I wish her the best and hope this madness comes to an end.

you could just look for mods, because I can guarantee you that there are mods for that.

It didn't, but it didn't have a lot of things that previous sims titles had on release, like toddlers, pools, and a proper world map.

EA and Maxis can support the game without putting out broken dlc. Maybe they can start by fixing the packs they already have.

While I'm definitely disappointed, I'd rather they'd delay and release a better product than release an unfinished/incomplete product early.

Same, booktok is what got me back into reading, and the amount of recs I have because of book lovers on tiktok is astounding. I also don't like Rebecca Yarros in particular, but she and the other booktok darlings have definitely (re)introduced many people to reading and that's amazing.

Yes, diversity doesn't start and end with the month meant to support and uplift them. This applies not just to reading fiction, but also learning about the communities as well. Learning about Black history and culture doesn't end in March, learning about lgbt history and culture doesn't end in July.
