The ‘tradition’ itself is not divine; it was made by humans under certain historical contexts, and we must revise them when the conditions that birthed them no longer exist.

reform to kingship, as I differed with Dr Oyekolade Sodiq Oyesanya on modernism/traditionalism. 💯 I contended that what is sacred and ‘traditional’ (the alleged inhumane and violent procedures of burying Kings) should be awe-inspiring, not horrifying and inhumane.
