I got to see Max while at the Spaced Out Retreat and he got to meet Jean Wright, one of the “Sew Sisters” at NASA. She worked on the shuttle program, of which there was a ton of sewing with highly technical materials. 🖤

This is on 1/8” yellow gingham, which is what was included in this vintage kit. If I were to do my own… I’d probably want 1/4” gingham.
