Spotted this in a queer-friendly shop in Stuttgart today. Had to think of this conversation.

🐸 影ケロ (Kage Kero) — a minimalist puzzle platformer in the works for the Nokia N-Gage.
Also hopping its way to other consoles... yes, even the Dreamcast 🌀

Started a second project: 影ケロ — a simple puzzle platformer in development for the Nokia N-Gage. It’s 2025, and this classic handheld still has more to give. Here are a few screenshots to give you a glimpse of what N-Gage development looks like today. 🐸

I've decided to just pretend it's 2003 again. I just love N-Gage swag. 😎

Thanks, never played the original Tekken so I didn't recognised it.

BTW I was referring to a game called Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior.

I have started to write a small game engine. Along the way I'm looking for problems and bugs in the SDL3 back-end. Fun!

Fun fact: you worked on the most commonly available N-Gage game ever. Yes, I still have a few.

Thanks for sharing this story. One thing I can tell you is that the N-Gage community is well and alive - yes, even now in 2025. 🤗

PS: Remember this? I've been told that this is taken straight from the original design docs.

The Nokia N-Gage SDK is about to get a major backend overhaul thanks to some great people from the libSDL community.

Once everything is working as intended, the SDL3 port should be ready to be merged into the mainline. Looking forward to it! 🤗

Fits perfectly. 🤗

This is the first physical release I've ever contributed to. I'm glad it was for the N-Gage of all things.

Now I'm feeling really motivated to get my SDL3 port shipped so I can start working on my own project. 🤗
