It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

Then the same question would have to be voted on in the Danish parliament. – It's simply "crazy talk". I don't even see the first step, i.e. a Greenlandic majority in a vote, happening.

If Trump is to succeed in making Greenland part of the USA, it must instead be done via. "transfer of sovereignty". She explains that Denmark has sovereignty over Greenland, and if this is to be changed, it requires first and foremost that a Greenlandic majority vote in favor. 2/3
