This is our rule in our house as well. Our 8 year old plays other things, namely Minecraft, in more controlled spaces with her friends. My kid is also playing Final Fantasy 9 and TheaterRhythm at the moment though, so she's probably an outlier lol.

We'll see how things go over time, but so far we've been able to keep our 8 year old off of it. We're open with her about Roblox being designed to take advantage of her in an unhealthy way and she seems to get it. Her and her friends play Minecraft in a more controlled environment as an alternative.

So many great games, not enough hours in the day!
