HERE'S A WIP OF THE "Aiden doesn't know how to feel about Jordi's black suit and also has a whole emotional journey about his relationship with Jordi along the way" FIC(let)
“What’s with the wardrobe change?” Aiden asks as he squashes the warm feeling beneath his heel. Jordi blinks mutely. Which is fair, given that Jordi is usually the one to spin off in random non-sequiturs, not Aiden. Jordi stops adjusting his cuffs all together and abruptly stands up, walking around the coffee table to plant himself firmly on the couch seat right next to Aiden. Never one to budge, Aiden stays where he is even if every part of him itches to put some distance between them again. Besides, Aiden sat down on this couch first. “You are so hung up over this.” Jordi frowns, which would be concerning if it weren’t for the mischief in his eyes and the lightness of his tone. “What, is black not my color?” “I didn’t say that,” Aiden quickly adds, and even though he’s fairly certain Jordi isn’t actually upset, he’d rather not risk things just in case Jordi still tucks a butterfly knife into his inner suit jacket pocket. “Oh? Then what did you mean to say?” Jordi tilts his head at Aiden, and the mischief in his eyes has spread to his smile, bright and incredibly smug. “I… just think it’s interesting. More subtle compared to your usual outfits. That’s all,” Aiden says carefully, barely managing to get his words out without tripping. “I never said it was bad. Far be it for me to criticize you on anything fashion related—” “You’re really bad at this, aren’t you?” Jordi interrupts, amused.

bonus observations:

- Aiden's thighs are marginally thicker than Jordi's...the difference is like down to the pixel tho so it's really hard to see LMFAO
- Aiden and Jordi's hands seem to be about the same size...and Aiden's hand happens to be just the perfect size to fit around Jordi's thigh teehee

this doesn't account for the thickness of Aiden's coat + sweater vs. the thickness of Jordi's suit jacket + dress shirt so it's possible that Jordi is even broader than my estimations here...
