“In 1940, just 7.7% of all households were one person. In 2020 that number shot up to nearly 30%.” I have been having a lot of thoughts about how we ended up on the edge of authoritarianism. An aspect I’ve not considered before is the collapse of multi-generational households.

My evangelical sister told me that she chose to limit her news consumption & avoid political discussion to “protect her peace.” That phrase really rubs me the wrong way, and I’m not sure why. Any thoughts?

My child is an immigration attorney. The horror stories you’re reading about currently happening in America are real. People who came to America claiming asylum, which IS legal, are being treated like criminals. Speak up!

We are in a living in a toxic cocktail of Americans who don’t want to hear what’s really happening b/c “it’s depressing” and legacy media who wants to downplay how much evil is being done in our name. How do we break through that wall?

What’s the difference between armed Nazis arresting people & railroading them to prison camps in Poland and armed ICE agents arresting people and flying them to prison camps in El Salvador? If we are largely in agreement that this is evil, then why can’t we put a stop to it?
