I don't do it myself, but I kinda like seeing it in library books. It means you get a snapshot of the previous reader's journey, and you can see where they paused and stopped

I think Pikmin is the better game, from an artistic point of view, but I definitely found Pikmin 2 more fun

I kind of agree with the sentiment, but it's definitely not the same as reading. It can satisfy the same niche as people who are into books, but it's different to reading. Like someone who is into badminton instead of tennis. Both are sports, but are different.
