RIP Dharmendra, one of the greatest Indian actors of our time.

Here’s a photo from our family album of him and Hemma Malini. My uncle is standing second from the left.

The youngest child is really keen on economics - just started his A levels.

He’s currently reading Danny Dorling, Thomas Piketty, Marianna Mazzucato and asked for more books.

So here’s his next read @dianecoyle1859.bsky.social

@catsofyore.bsky.social my boys and I recently visited the Cats Museum in Kotor, Montenegro!

A wonderful place and everywhere we went in the town, there were the most gorgeous cats. We have a donation to the museum as they help feed the cats.

Bonus: the ticket gets you in to the museum in Budapest

What does Lucy even mean by this? Does it include my retired parents who migrated to this country in the late 60’s and got naturalised? What use to India would they be now?

Or does she want to send me too (I was born here)? I might be of some use as I have a masters degree but I’m over 50 now. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Seeing/hearing people who previously had nothing to say about what is happening to the people of Gaza, now coming out and saying ‘it’s gone too far’.

All I can say is ⬇️

Wonderful evening at @stephenunwin.bsky.social ’ book launch.

@johnharris1969.bsky.social was marvellous and I could have listened to both men for a few more hours.

Do grab a copy of their books - available in all good book shops.

I suspect we have all been affected by the Air India disaster yesterday.

For a sense of how operations come together after such a disaster, listen to Radio 4, Desert Island Discs now.

@lucygobag.bsky.social is the guest and also author of ‘When The Dust Settles’. An incredible individual.

A great day at the #NHSConfedExpo yesterday.

Wes Streeting may have delayed our session, but we eventually got to talk about health inequalities faced by people with #LearningDisabilities from ethnic minoritised communities.

Thanks to @learningdiseng.bsky.social and the Race Equality Foundation.

As a teenager, I loved AHA and listened to everything they released and drove mum bonkers by insisting we try and find out where the band lived when we visited Norway!

I wish Morten all the best.

I’m incredibly proud of my friend @stephenunwin.bsky.social for writing such an important book. 🙏🏼

It will challenge the many misconceptions people have about #LearningDisabilities but it will also remind society that people like my son are first and foremost, human, just like you and me.

It’s been two years since I started talking about the removal of home to transport for 16-18 yr olds with #SEND.

Today, I’ll be speaking at an event in Westminster (sponsored by Jen Craft MP for Thurrock) and organised by Contact A Family.

A brilliant LeDeR conference today.

Great examples of good practise from Trusts in the Black Country but also an acknowledgment that more needs to be done.

Topped off by a fantastic protest by self advocates from @dvcdudley.bsky.social.

Oh, and a renaming of LeDeR!
