Escapee from the ‘other place’ as a leftie boomer. Remember when fascism was seen as universally a bad thing. Trying to stay optimistic as a mother, grandmother, aunt & great aunt.
Personally I always thought he lay somewhere between useless & a right wing sycophant. I think people were fooled by his accent.

And yet the racist narrative will not change a jot. If only Labour had held their nerve.

So US independence was born with the rejection of one mad King only to be devastated by another centuries later.

Too busy stopping disabled people paying their own money to top up to a ‘luxury’ car!
November 25, 2025 at 1:33 PM
Well well just as Labour is trying to copy them.
November 19, 2025 at 10:08 AM
And the racists would still be amongst us demanding more!
November 18, 2025 at 8:04 AM
Clearly he wants to get rid of the BBC & elevate GB News.

So very disappointed by this government. Together with a lot of my Labour friends I’m now looking at the Greens. Never will understand or forgive them trying to out fascist Farage! Beyond despicable but also incredibly stupid politically!

Watched All the Presidents Men the other day just to remind myself what is normal & how far from that the US is now.

But very concerned about the Trump backlash & his ability to mess with the midterms either through violence or rigging.

What is it about the BBC & Farage? Mason practically wetting himself ´ This is the most fascinating party conference I have ever been to.’ Kuenssberg excited about giving Farage an (inevitably scrutiny free)slot tomorrow. Nandy needs to remove those at the top pushing this endless Reform agenda.

You must have got this wrong. He told US Congress under oath that he never has, never will ban journalists from his events. 🤷‍♀️

Confirms for me the right decision was to convict her. She knew exactly what she was doing when she tweeted.

And we care about his opinion on anything because…?
August 19, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Stop giving him any relevance. He’s just an ex (useless) MP.
August 19, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Embarrassing. I despair. Understand the need to retain relations but do we need to spend so much time kissing arse!
August 8, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Yes he has form. Also he’s a Trump fanboy. Controversially I think Nick Robinson does a fair job of not imposing his strong right wing views on his interviews. But generally the Today programme is the audio version of The Daily Fail.

Not my favourite of his.
June 26, 2025 at 11:11 AM
Never Flinch. His latest. Another Holly crime thriller.
June 26, 2025 at 11:10 AM
Also gonna bet the mid terms will be suspended.
June 9, 2025 at 10:09 AM
The ketamine is in full flow tonight. Will Musk admit to rigging the swing states?
June 5, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Best fun I’ve had in a long while. As a sideline of fun Reform are imploding in the UK at the same time!
June 5, 2025 at 7:48 PM
I protested at Blenheim. Great atmosphere of likeminded people made it worth it anyway.

Truly terrifying. Thank you for your hard work as even reading many of these makes me nauseous!
