No thanks. I fully expected the republicans to do everything they they promised and worse. I did however hold out a glimmer of hope that the Democrats wouldn’t fold like a card table in a week. Again. They can fuck all the way off. Should have known better.

Thank you. It’s a lot, ngl. Only child lives in Australia & we had a good plan but can’t now due to health. My peace comes in having lived 65 years of a good live and that my son who is gay is safe with his husband far away. Thank you so much for listening. All the best to you and yours 💕

Taking a substantial withdrawal fr IRA (lucky 2 have), pet food, batteries, powered eggs/milk, meds. Have had stage IV cancer 4 a yr, had a stroke 2 weeks ago. Considering stopping treatment if it gets too bad. Genuinely scared old/sick will be next.

Just turned 65, diagnosed w/stage IV cancer last year, had a stroke last week. And I’m better off than some. Never been vulnerable before and frankly I’m terrified.

For my own metal health and to fully enjoy the holidays with my son and his hubs who traveled from Australia, I have gone into a bubble where I refuse to pay attention to any of this shit until 01/02. Can’t change it & won’t ruin what may be the last Christmas it’s safe for a gay couple to be here.
