not sure if this is classical lit... but i would recommend dante's inferno ! tentatively would recc purgatorio/paradiso, thou i technically didn't read them 100% bc of lack of time in class. also ! any sort of greek mythos lit, like the aeneid, the odyssey, etc. my stories drip w their influence...
