Idk how to explain this without getting into trauma and thus once again "sharing private things", but this is exactly what my parents would say to us over and over. Even when we moved out they told us to not do this bc it "ruined" their reputation. It feels horrible.

and I really think it's worse to tell a mass of people what your boundaries are and decide that they are the UNIVERSAL boundary. Others are allowed to have other comfort levels. But this is the take of people who are large+I looked up to and many share it so IDK I just wanna quit

Coming from people you admire just makes me feel like garbage. I don't know if I'm cut out of this space if that's the popular one in big spheres.

I think I should just quit. I really do. My entire life was being told to never share anything and it just led to me being stuck in abusive situations. Now I'm hearing from people I admire to never share "private" things and they're judging you if you do it. + It's bad boundaries.
