Huge middle finger to the Lake City community by Bank of America. On Farmers Market days, this hill used to be covered with picnicking families. Now we just have this pretty, but unusable public space.

It's almost like sweeps are a giant waste of money that displaces people unnecessarily, doesn't solve the underlying issue, and makes it harder to connect people with the services they need.

I feel like too many people have illiteracy as to how grocery store economics work. Just finished shopping for the week for a family of four. Spent $75.

I am hoping Jake Paul is manifesting this result tonight by his choice of walk (ride?) in music

Netflix Exec: We need Christmas movie pitches, let's hear 'em.

Algorithm: Frosty the Snowman, but he fucks.

Netflix Exec: Mother of god, we've done it again!

Started as a Reese's Peanut butter cup pie actually turned out to be more like a Nutty Buddy pie. Graham cracker crust, milk chocolate custard, and homemade Reese's Peanut butter filling.

Guess which guys picked the Non-Baseball category for the Allen & Ginter breaks?

Tree Action Seattle ad in the latest Lake City Community newsletter. Just seems like more antidevelopment drivel. Hard to take an urban forestry activism group seriously when they don't have any sort of platform related to street trees and parking minimums

You want to know why you can't get a date? It's because you fucking suck dude.

No woman worth her salt wants to date a guy who casts himself the victim, who thinks she's a prize to be won instead of a full fledged human being worthy of equal rights.

That is entirely within your control.

You are allowed to be an environmentalist or argue against bus lanes. You cannot do both.

No you don't and no you aren't. Your letter attests to this.

Another argument that assumes access patterns are static. Maybe people all drive to Seafoodfest because transit service sucks when it goes on?
July 27, 2023 at 1:40 PM
Third argument drives me insane. It assumes commute patterns are static and not at all affected by quality of service. Time savings for busses leads to modal shifts. We don't need to wait for patterns to stabilize.
July 27, 2023 at 1:36 PM
Second argument says there was no issues with Westlake delay for busses. I studied this for my thesis work. It's false. They also argue about access needs in Fremont, conveniently forgetting the needs of transit dependent folks who get caught in the same Fremont Bridge traffic.

First argument posits that idling buses and the fact that poor people ride the bus is why the Starbucks in Fremont closed rather than the fact that Starbucks was union busting.
July 27, 2023 at 1:28 PM
I'm sure there are people that will blame this stop closure on the encampment next to it but this stop has never made sense. This is the middle stop of a section where there are three stops across two blocks. It should have been eliminated years ago.
