(Always loved this bizarre picture of early AC/DC—looks like a strange family portrait)
A very odd studio photograph of early AC/DC (c. 1975). This lineup features the very short-lived bass player Paul Matters (upper left with the blonde hair), who would soon be replaced by Mark Evans. They’re all posed against a powder blue backdrop, complimented by a potted plant, a purple rug, and a rattan chair. Singer Bon Scott is sat on the rattan chair with legs crossed, and hand on his thigh with his eyes on the camera with a subtle smirk. He’s dressed in only a very hot pink (or perhaps red?) pair of satin overalls. Behind him (upper right), rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young is stood with his hands on his hips, facing the camera. He’s wearing jeans and a silk kimono/happi style top in a similar color to Bon’s overalls. Lead guitarist Angus Young is sat in the middle of the group, grinning at the camera in his usual way. He’s wearing one of the very first (THE first, IIRC) iterations of his schoolboy outfit—an all white version of the iconic costume we know so well. And finally, we arrive at the bottom left to see drummer Phil Rudd greeting us with a rare smile—albeit an awkward looking one. He’s sat on the rug with crossed legs and dressed in baby blue bell bottoms with a rather cutesy sailboat themed polo (honestly I’d like to have it) shirt. It has white elastic borders along its openings—the majority of it being a light blue color with some darker blue stripe accents. The large stripe across the chest makes up the ‘ocean’ on which the large sailboat graphic sails. Like Phil’s shirt, the whole photoshoot seems rather uncharacteristically twee for how we normally see and envision AC/DC. They look so polite here!

Do those VHS/DVD covers for the original Corman Little Shop of Horrors make anyone else here crack up from just how much they exaggerate Jack Nicholson’s starring in it?

You would think he was the star, but he just has a bit part in it.

Dunno, always made me chuckle a little.
A scan of the front cover of a 1989 or so VHS release of the 1960 Roger Cornan film “The Little Shop of Horrors.” The box (rather misleadingly) makes a huge deal out of it being Jack Nicholson’s first role on film (it wasn’t)—having him front and center in a tux holding Audrey Jr. A later VHS release, probably from the late 90s or 2000s. This one actually shows Seymour (played by Jonathan Haze), however he’s relegated to the bottom left corner of the cover—dwarfed by a headshot of a young Jack Nicholson, who, again, receives top billing.
