Had to fight this fight back in the day when they automated the HVAC for ten spaces off of one thermostat. They don’t seem to understand the difference between chillin’ and freezing!

I *think* at one point earlier in the pandemic there was a federal mandate with which they needed to comply, but when that lapsed, so did their numbers.
If my memory is correct, they were always lagging, so it wasn’t that useful.

They are also hugely prejudiced by local news reporting that so often solely focuses on detailing local crime (thanks Sinclair) without statistical context that shows how much lower it actually is. It’s literally all people hear day to day.

I don’t hate winter, but I’d never refer to the season of the year where everyone is frantic about something difficult and the most wonderful time of the year.
