Please keep Hela in your thoughts. She took a down turn and is currently hospitalized in critcal condtion at the Pet Care Center in Metairie. She was hypothermic this morning. Blood work looks good except for sky high WBC. Organs look good too. I'm so scared for her. #catsky

We said goodbye to Percy today. His kiddo came by last night to say goodbye. So did the possums, waiting on our back stoop for him. He was the most possumist finding dog. And would just and stare face to face with them. He had a good walk and some chicken nuggets and then went to sleep. #Dogsky

Now Percy still has enough umph to menace possums in the yard. He is quite diligent in finding them. He found this big'un last night.

Dear Percy is fading. His hind end is getting very weak, quickly. He isn't eating with gusto like he used to. He still wants treats. For a 100lb, neglected doberman who conquered heartworms and nearly dying from a dog attack, it is amazing he's made it to 13. We are just monitoring his QoL now.

We had a wee visitor last night. Got stuck behind some plywood so I had to coax them out and back to their catfood/slug smorgasbord. They were very, very frightening with their big open mouth and hisses. 😆 #Possum
