Great shout. Imagine if Wenger/Arsenal had bid £2.99

Today is 'Emperor's New Clothes Day'. The moment Arsenal fans properly realised that Sky and Talk Sport were wearing no clothes....

Thank you Andrew, truly inspired. Just brilliant. An Animal Farm reworking with the totalitarian Sky and Talk Sport ideologues I can sense taking shape....

What ‘main-stream’ pundits can’t get their thick heads round about Arsenal:

‘The rules are simple: you play low block we score from set pieces, you attack you concede 5. The choice is yours.’

Thanks for asking the Ekitike/Isak question on the pod and your courtesy getting through my handle which is actually a Nirvana lyric, real name is in bio, lol. £200m on 2 identical players may be a rare Michael Edwards mis-step considering how LFC are getting bashed about, not winning their duels...

There's some good (but rare!) stuff creeping into the media narrative - Andy Parslow was vg on 5 Live last night calmly and professionally talking through set-piece training and strategy. He was at Brentford back in 2015 when Ted Knutson (Statsbomb/The Transfer Flow) was designing set-plays.

That's very good

LFC recruitment: why did they buy both Ekitike and Isak when they are identical profiles? scoutedftbl.com/hugo-ekitike...
Is Hugo Ekitiké an Alexander Isak regen?
Everyone, including us, keeps saying the Frenchman is a mini version of the Swede - let’s use data to figure out the truth

Thank you for such interesting posts - we could do with a few sculpture graveyards here in the UK. Actually, having said that, what has been done with the Colston statue in Bristol is really good. It's been museum-ised and it really works....

Only got a minute of it but wholeheartedly agree, thanks for enduring Sky Sports so a lot of us don’t have to (volume on mute, live pictures synced with the Arsenal comms for matches). Your eloquence and consideration is really appreciated!

VAR didn’t want to ‘embarrass’ Simon Hooper (‘Hoops’ no doubt) by sending him to the screen for the second time in the match. Hooper had already missed the crystal clear red card for Chalobah’s last-man foul earlier. Sadly another good example of VAR not being fit for purpose.

Outstanding, looks like a perfect fit; technically brave and unfazed.

Love the format with Adrian C presenting, proper knowledge across the panel
