First time I can recall no anime or manga references for character parallels: Scalawag from Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night and Tom Nook from Animal Crossing really only have one commonality, because they're not even both raccoons (barring the Western localizations)

Another parallel that's more obvious if you watched the newest MHA Vigilantes episode, and only have to watch the first Pokemon episode to get the joke that is a running gag for a while with the other character. Though the gag changes for the more recent character, so this is surface level

Up there with the silliest cats, would cuddle under the covers(probably cold as she got older), but also standoffish and insisted she was top cat in the house while being small for her age

Is it just me, or could several recent Yami Shibai episodes be decent premises for a short film or even expand into a feature film? Today's episode, Paprika (not to be confused with Satoshi Kon's work) has a dog stuffed animal seemingly possessed by the spirit of the lead's lost pet. Or is it!?

My mind went to @diamandahagan.bsky.social for this weird old direct to video Christmas special (just over half an hour, so not a film) that I watched as a kid, Kids Sing Christmas. Probably Headcanon Fodder, since there's implications about a teddy bear given life and having magic powers.

Parallel I had to dig to find the character from #Arrow that also had this trait. Season 7, no less. Sad that the #4KnightsOfTheApocalypse character is short lived, but he's still cool
