We're going back into hell, where my dawgs at
The entire thread is right there for you to read. There's nothing stopping you from reading it. The thread is the correct order for you to follow. You could respond to the topics of the thread, but for some reason we are focused on this strange rhetorical fallacy you're insisting on.

No, I responded *after* this topic was brought up. Before then, this was just an argument of whether or not Democrats actually chose Mamdani. The topic was shifted to "Well he wouldnt win statewide" because its quite clear yes, Democrats in NYC did.

People tell me "Blue Maga" is real, but honestly, I dont think it is. I think people are just on the internet shouting into the void because we're all angry at a fascist being in charge.

What *is* real, is how much influence money had over Democrats, and how much thats *finally* changing.
September 5, 2025 at 7:03 PM
So you're welcome to just act like this isn't a major deal (the enormous response here shows this man lives SUPER rent free in the heads of quite a few die hards), but you are wrong if you're telling other it isn't. Even the other people in this thread know (not even just the racist replies).

For the DSA candidate to win this nomination, and with immense turnout is very significant. It does mean that theres a massive cultural shift in the Democratic Party. The man ran on big government (scary word), criticizing Israel (scary words), and taxing the rich (shouldnt be scary). Thats huge.
September 5, 2025 at 7:02 PM
It is silly to think the Mayor of New York City is some faceless blip in Democratic Politics- NYC is the image people think of when they think "United States". Its one of the most populated cities in the country and represents both the ultra wealthy and the struggling working class.
September 5, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Cuomo and Adams DID represent something in the party- they represented an old guard mode of thought that was about marrying power and money in politics. Both represented an old Clinton era of "shifting to the right" that put Democrats in the position they are in today.
September 5, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Lmao just make an accusation, not back it up, run when pressed and say that it’s proof. If you’re not going to argue, don’t make a clown claim of yourself and posture like you did.
September 5, 2025 at 5:58 PM
I’m actually very curious what on earth you mean
September 5, 2025 at 5:50 PM
For this very reason, a savvy young politician managing to win the richest district in the country is a major deal. His politics are taxing the rich, rent freezes, free busses. This was incredibly popular and led to the primaries enormous turnout. Instead of celebrating this, you're angry.
September 5, 2025 at 3:51 PM
In that vacuum, the local scene of the Democratic Party began to falter and the right wing began taking over. We lost the house in 2022 quite honestly because of how many districts we lost in NY. The Democratic guard is mad arrogant and living in insulated bubbles.
September 5, 2025 at 3:51 PM
What does running statewide have to do with Mamdani's NYC run? Hes not running for Governor, hes running for Mayor.

This is the massive fault of the old guard of Democrats- they are laser focused on national politics that they left local politics to rot. I literally never brought this up, you did.
September 5, 2025 at 3:51 PM
“Yall think he’s the second coming of Christ”

This is a confession of just your anger at what his victory represents- that the old guard of the Dems is a failure, and your politics is unpopular. You claim to not care but you clearly do. This is why I take his win as significant, yea
September 5, 2025 at 2:58 PM
So if Mamdani wins (as it looks like he’s on track to do), what then? Was the vote rigged? We’re voters just wrong *this time*?

Cuomo could coordinate with Trump to get Adam’s to drop out (as it’s currently been reported). Do you think Democrats will vote for “Trumps hand picked candidate”?
September 4, 2025 at 10:11 PM
Mmm if that’s so, why did they sit out the election, and why of the 33% of the activated vote did the majority of them go Mamdani? There’s a simple stats answer- Mamdani is the more favorable candidate. Unless you wanna subvert democracy and force someone else on, the man won
September 4, 2025 at 4:46 PM
No, you’re a conservative who happens to be at the intersection of things the Republicans hate. Therefor, you appear to have naturally drifted to the Democrats with absolutely 0 care of the ideology. Democrats democratically voted for the Mamdani. For this reason, Cuomo is running as an independent.
September 4, 2025 at 5:21 AM
The Democratic Party doesn’t owe ‘him’ anything, it owes ‘voters’ their vote

Do you believe in Democracy

Because quite clearly, no you don’t

Why don’t you just join the Republican Party and be an authoritarian
September 4, 2025 at 5:16 AM
He won the ‘Democratic Primary’. Literally anyone who wins a democratic primary is definitionally part of the Party. The DNC isn’t an exclusive club, it’s a political party. Are you even listening to yourself?
September 4, 2025 at 5:08 AM
“Candidates aren’t wrong, voters are” is an astonishingly anti-democratic sentiment. Biden funded a genocide and consistently lied about it for 15 months, despite everyone telling him it would cost him the election. This is Biden’s fault, not Mamdanis lmfao.
September 4, 2025 at 5:06 AM
“CAIR terrorists” May be the most racist thing I have heard in a while
September 4, 2025 at 4:57 AM
Lmao then why’d he win the Democrats
September 4, 2025 at 4:56 AM
Lmao buddy he won the Democrats. He hijacked what, the voting machines? The voters hands?

What messed up version of democracy do you have in your head where the democratic winner is “predetermined”
