For the last 10 years or so I've tried to start the year off with a classic movie that I've never seen before. This year was The Talk of the Town, a fantastic entry in "should've been a throuple" cinema.

A friend asked me to make her a list of movies to watch that would lean into the feeling of impending doom. Making the list made me want to watch/rewatch a lot of the films myself, so I started today with A Hidden Life and promptly realized this project might not be sustainable for my mental health
