Okay, so converted the gif to mp4 to post here since animated gifs aren't fully supported yet. This is from the project I was uploading progress to here before (and still *technically* not finished).

Okay, I've the shadows and highlight I don't know how many times now. Because of how light the base grey is it makes lighting panels and the like a real pain. I'm opting for more drastic contrast lighting now, and gonna add back in some line-work for edge definition, white alone isn't strong enough.

Waiting for the Bluesky team to get custom gifs going. Until then, here's the progress so far. The head, torso, and shoulders have moving parts (not that we can see it yet) so I've moved onto the lighting which adds a surprising amount of depth. After that, I'll move to colour.

Waiting for the Bluesky team to get custom gifs going. Until then, here's the progress so far. The head, torso, and shoulders have moving parts (not that we can see it yet) so I've moved onto the lighting which adds a surprising amount of depth. After that, I'll move to colour.

Boo sir, boo I say. Looking good, no nub marks in sight. Also this happened to arrive today. Can't get to it for a while though, got another project on the go. When I do ill pose it with my RG for you

Just a small update on my pixel project. Found more reference materials by @apdoodles.bsky.social for the Desperado, so it is mostly just tinkering with the head and getting a rough idea for shows and such. I might end up expanding the image just so the shoulders look bulky enough.

Not the best pics because I have a potato phone and need to upgrade. I wanted a Knight for my Black Templar army. Also don't have the best freehand skills so the shield and banner are just a visual mess.

Honestly, I messed about with both but never found a satisfactory solution, so they are mono pose now. Posability would have been nice to have but would have ended up too loose and floppy. Both have magnets in the biceps like the guns but that's it.

I put the time and effort into painting the dude, so I damn well want to be able to see him the 2 or 3 times a year I want.

I used cuts of sprue to help fill the gaps a bit. The two parts that use the one shield/guard needed to sit out further assuming you want to have all three options like I do.

A Knight was my first magnet build too, super fun. You might be fine with the magnets you got, seem similar size to what I used, you might just need to double up in places. I recommend getting some miliput or greenstuff around them for a better hold, I found they ripped away from superglue too often
