I've got a similar cylinder but it's more of an hourglass layout with thick neon green slime inside it. I bought mine from a local Op Shop. Left picture is more colour accurate. Less Frutiger Aero and more #Y2K

The way light bounces around in it is nostalgic to me.

UV unwrapping their photograph to my model:
Nearly all the models in the art were made by referencing the size of real things and photographing them, just with more sides. Exceptions are the building and desk, the character, and the beige hand lamp on the left which uses procedural textures instead.

"Popsicle figurine, 10cm base", 1 MAY 25.
Made for someone who wanted a larger version of the 5cm base figurine from 2022 and has also been helping me through some of life's issues. I used the same Posca and metallic pens for both. The pink ran out just as I finished.

Practice for painting the parts of trees that I find more difficult than the rest, those being the roots and branches. It was also because I wanted to paint one spontaneously.

Something simple to start getting back into things. The texture was made by putting the UMD on my printer's flatbed scanner and the 3D model was made by measuring the physical item with measurement calipers.

My dad was turning a damaged office audio headset into a cable with volume control, as it was worn down in some spots. I took a photo of this "middle step" of his process, where he connected the good side of the cable to itself.

This photograph shows an unusual loop of audio cable made from half of a Verbatim brand set of headphones. The cable connecting the volume control to the headset and the headset itself were removed, as well as the 3.5mm plug, in order to connect the plug end to the volume control, creating a loop. There is a volume control on one side of the loop.

A bumpmap making method test for a photo I took of the stuff underneath some tiles that were pulled up. I don't think it was actually concrete, but we did complain about how the material used was not appropriate for where it was put. It does look like it though.

A 3D tileset I did for a cancelled show of mine. I would have also liked to make a "Strand-like" co-op puzzle traversal game set here. Players are scored by how far they get from spawn with placed ladders and catwalks appearing to other players.

Something I made while showing Kid Pix 4 to a group of people who I was surprised to hear had never seen it before. I still have it installed, but I lost the disk. I was playing with the effects and the warped noise looked like Megamind so I drew lines over it.
