Wir sind nicht gewohnt, in solchen Absurditäten zu denken. Wir sind in weitreichender Rechtssicherheit sozialisiert, glauben an die Macht der Gewaltenteilung, und übersehen völlig, dass diese ohne den notwendigen Konsens, sich auch nur innerhalb dieses Systems zu bewegen, völlig zahnlos sein kann.

Ja, ich weiß - aber da muss doch irgendwann selbst für sie mal eine rote Linie überschritten sein und für den Bund endlich mal ein "Geht nicht" ausgesprochen werden. Ich check diese Haltung nicht.

2/1 ... will do their part - as if these evil personified would care about that. They just do what they want, neither accepting the law nor democracy and the least they do is caring for people. Good luck for you personnally! Hope you find a good job and can stick with doing great stuff for others.

Watching all this from far away Austria in agony and despair. Austria & Germany are about to walk the same way. Unfortunately a lot of people - and I am not talking about those voting for the far right parties - totally underestimate the danger and the dynamics. Still think that checks&balances 1/1

I don't think they really blocked them - but they just said "you are not allowed to do that". Is this correct? This unfortunately doesn't help, as they don't care about what is legal or not. Stop thinking in these categories. Checks and balances is no longer working.

Start to hide them, as they will not just ban them from libraries and offices, and next step from book shops, but they will try to destroy as many of them as possible.

Das Schöne an Verfassungen aus der Sicht von Diktatoren ist ja, dass man sie einfach ignorieren kann, wenn das Land hinreichend korrumpiert ist.
