My father still have W7, and I already have to be his 24/7 problem solver. A linux would be easier for me, as I would not be dealing with all the malware sometimes he get. But he don´t want to buy a new computer (is from 2006 LOL) nor have a Linux installed.

Kubuntu, Linux Mint or Zorin OS are more easy to use distros that can help Windows users with the transition. I only give more options.

Linux user for some years 🐧. Maybe a dual boot with a linux to run some task and an unsupported (in a future) Windows 10 for things that can´t be run on linux on the other can work.
Kubuntu, Zorin OS and Linux Mint are the most easy to windows users. There is also Wubuntu that have W11 theme 😁.
