The first job I got was still all drafting tables, scalpels and bromide cameras but within a couple of years I was indeed using them and in the subsequent 32 years and counting I have spent a not insignificant time each working day in every version of Photoshop since.

They had V1 on the Macs they had at uni when I was doing my design degree. I didn’t think much of it. Neither did the lecturers. They just kind of pointed at the Macs and said. “We are pretty sure you will probably be doing your work on these in the future but we don’t know how to use them yet”
