Day 8 of #ArtAdventCalendar - a favorite hiking place. The scene is very recognizable for those who have frequented this particular summit. I love the simplicity of the large rock sitting at the summit. It looks ready to roll, but it's been there a very long time.

Day 7 of #ArtAdventCalendar - Thoughts about failure in art: Let yourself make mistakes, fail, have grand experiments. Struggle and surrender to get what's inside you on paper, in clay, on your instrument. If you do not you will be poorer all the days of your life and so will the world around you.

A good way to kick off my feed. This is #wip but I love the look of wet clay and finger rings from throwing. To me art happens every stage. Maybe you don’t sell it because it’s transient, but it is alive and evolving. It’s like a dance. Day 1 #artadventcalendar #pottery
