This is not a knock on scRNA. There are beautiful, mechanistic works using scRNAseq that provided new knowledge. For example works by Ido Amit and Miriam Merad. But another atlas? An N of 3 is ridiculous. It doesn't matter that each one had thousands of cells. This wouldn't fly even at MDPI
