On a whim I watched The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover the other day day and I can't get it out of my head. It's gorgeous, disgusting, overwhelming, and perverse while feeling very relevant to our times. Loved it.

1. I needed this book as my first read of the year. Especially for this week. This fantasy written within an anarchist framework, seamlessly weaving in trans and queer perspectives, felt like breathing new life into old tales. Inspiring, beautifully written, with a world I am eager to return to
