Kirchner's supporters are saying that the photos of Kirchner in his uniform at neighborhood meetings were taken before Kirchner was a candidate for alder.
I wouldn't put it past Richard Callow's former Public Eye, Inc. colleague #AlderAnne to play dirty, misleading politics like this.

Thank you and @ryankrull.bsky.social for covering this. Something like 2/3rds of the money raised for Cara Spencer's campaign has come from Bob Clark and friends. Meanwhile, Spencer says it's "insulting" that anyone would wonder whether there are strings attached to these massive donations.

Speaking of Ald. Spencer's voting record, perhaps you can ask Spencer why she was one of 8 yes votes on Board Bill 37, which dramatically expanded the scope of the North Side grant program and caused the problems. Spencer blames SLDC, but not her enabling vote. www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/c...
