I did find a way of making it everyone's problem;

I’m confused… The Dynamic Island is exactly the same size as the notch when active, about 1 cm narrower when inactive 🤔
The bottom does come 2 mm lower, yes.
Compared to iPhone 12 mini.

I quite like it, nice having the remaining cooking time just at the top while doing something else :P
