It’s a annoying argument to settle on (the govt has been doing awesome) because the successes described aren’t cumulative and neglect to include other real and painful truths where the govt isn’t doing so great. To borrow from Ron Funches no one thinks the govt is batting a thousand.

2 - So when politicians and their billionaire owners talk about “the parasite class” that includes people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who if they’re receiving the average SSI payment aren’t being paid enough to cover the cost of their room and board payment at their home.
