There was a fire early this morning in the building housing the art studio where I take classes. My latest watercolor, on the right, and the subject, on left are destroyed. I am thankful no one was hurt and I was able to retrieve my material, damp and smoky but intact. #art

Today in art class we unwrapped and cut what we thought was a plastic wrapped panettone to discover that it is, in fact, a pandoro! The difference between a panettone and a pandoro is that a panettone has raisins and candied orange peel in the dough and a pandoro doesn't. Pastel on grey paper.
