I have been a Dem all my voting years and I am tired of being blamed for Republicans winning. It doesn’t stop them, it only makes it harder to win.

So if you want to protect trans people stop attacking allies.

What do you expect from Dems? We tried to warn you, we nominated an ally for Pres, we knocked doors, talked to our nbrs and tried like hell to get people to listen. Dems can’t “save” you if you aren’t willing to fight with us. Because Dems are still fighting even if you aren’t.

They aren’t pro-life and I will no longer call them that.

It is the forced birth party/movement.

Has it made it to committee? I can try to testify, and at least submit a public comment if it does.

They will blame it on Democrats and the corporate media will spin it.

Who is stopping them? Few people can navigate the process and even fewer have the means to hire a law team, even if they could find one willing to take the case.

I wasn’t referring to health insurance. Those 25 states ban access to gender affirming care - meaning that is ILLEGAL.

What types of care that insurance companies should cover is a separate discussion and not really relevant here.

I just want to point out that many breast cancer survivors have breast implants. Banning one group often has unintended consequences on other people and I don’t believe that Dems (or any other political group) should be espousing this idea.

25 states have laws banning gender affirming care. Twenty five state governments have decided that they control a person’s access to medical treatment, not the individual.

Just because you don’t see the impacts of attacks on trans people doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
