After listening to Senator Schumers reasons... I am fearful that king-trump & his minions will do exactly as the Senator stated if there is a shutdown, & open the departments they want while keeping other shuttered to play into their hand of selectively disassembling the govt from the inside out.

Dear sir, why are the other Dems not seeing what you're seeing as a reason to NOT shut down the federal govt. Your logic sounds like the right decision... but what am I missing here that keeps the Dem rank and file to want to shut it down? There clearly is a communication breakdown somewhere here.

The American citizens need to step up and also REVOLT/PROTEST, CALL AND GIVE HELL TO THEIR REPRESENTATIVES! @schumer.senate.gov I agree with your logic, BUT I do not beleive American voters understand the severity of the situation! It is being presented to "politically" as a Dem vs Rep tit-for-tat.

He needs to be brought up on WAR CRIMES for killing the Ulkrainian civilians that died as a result of his "pausing" military intelligence to Ukraine's military allowing russia to bomb condos/apartments and hospitals.
