When you see harmful or misleading information online, remember not to engage with it, even to call it out. Remember to leverage your personal relationships with people who may be contributing to the disinformation, and ask questions.

You may see people talking about the bill allowing for more deductions for taxpayers 65 and over. This is true! But, while these deductions are coming, there is a “phaseout threshold,” which means that these deductions will not apply to everyone.

Leaving it blank or marking a date inconsistent with your voter registration will result in your ballot being rejected, so pay close attention! Your birth year is NOT required for the primary election in September, but it will be included just for practice.
