In case you are wondering what I’ve been listening to, it’s the 8th book in the Verity Kent series by Anna Lee Huber. I’ve been diving deep into historical mysteries lately. This one is set in the UK in the years after WW1.

For those of you who are new to my Dad stories, here he is. He’s 97 and 1/2 (you have to include the 1/2) and is sharp as a tack for many things. He can watch an old movie and say exactly what year it came out.

Just tried this cider. It’s fairly new at Trader Joe’s. Nice, dry, light cider. Perfect for summer. Came in a 500ml bottle.

Here’s Dad, who is 97 and 1/2, in case you didn’t know. He told the barber that he wants a boys regular for 35¢. That’s what he mother told him to say back in the 1930s.
