So very, very sorry for this loss, we lost our Gracie three years ago from the same terrible disease. Such a hole is left behind when they depart and the unwelcome new normal is left for us to try to navigate without them. He was gorgeous, sending many thoughts to you.

Same here! We got off a week-long cruse in Tampa at that time in 2020, landed on March 14th....and the check-out folks, as we were exiting the cruise, said, "good luck with buying toilet paper and paper towels!" And that proved to be very true, alas.

I feel the same. But in the midst of all the awful stuff happening, I am also very grateful for your wonderful Dorothy Parker quotes and quips which help to keep things both cheerful and in a good perspective. It really helps to have DP wisdom and humor front and center, thank you for all you do!
