This is a terrible case to serve as a platform for invalidation of nationwide injunctions. If courts can invalidate this EO only within their jurisdictional boundaries (or only as to named plaintiffs), chaos will ensue. This case actually demonstrates the need for nationwide injunctions.

My favorite part of the dissent is where Alito says that what a district court says the law is (and when the court issues order based on that statement), that is just what the court ordered and not what the law is. Marbury just rolled over.
