Maybe because I grew up in an Elvis house, but I really disagree with this, lol. The Elvis version is so poignant; he knows he did Priscilla dirty and has regrets.

I am a real sucker for covers and love many. But one song that I’m not a fan of the original but love the cover is Eva Cassidy’s “Fields of Gold.”

Are you thinking like you would make a whole one for another person then swap, or have several people contribute to make one for everyone, like a cookie swap? I like the idea of both but would need more lead time. Maybe next year!
