It's been a rough few weeks. My truck developed at least one extra neutral, haven't been able to get it out of 1st gear. Mechanic friend reccoed a shop, I'm pulling myself since it saves me $500 over having them have to pull it, + the $200 tow bill.

Never in my life would I have even thought I would need to put a pair of these on to have a conversation with my 30 year old son. Apparently, I had a tone with him (after having told him the same thing 3 times in 36 hours). He's all about the false bravado = insecure.

Update: Saw the Ortho Hand Specialist today. No nerve or tendon damage, and it's healing well.

I went to urgent care this morning. Ended up having the screwdriver slip last night & iit went straight into my hand, & came to a dead stop. X-rays show no chipped bone. Tetanus shot, antibiotic & a referral to ortho. The 2nd pic shows fibrous strands, not sure could be part of a tendon?

First jalapeño of the season! We have 3 more o. The plant already. About 20+ cucumbers starting, watermelon plant is growing like crazy.

We took a day trip up north. Stopped at a place that has concrete figures/statues and got a things. Then took a short break in Mackinaw City to take our anniversary photo. Then over the bridge to St. Ignace where we ate at the Driftwood. It was a great little getaway just the two of us.
