Sprouts quadruple the nutritional value of their seeds, especially when they get some sun to develop chlorophyll. We use them on salads and sandwiches. Delish.

Willem de Looper, a fine artist from the Netherlands, retired in 1987, as Chief Curator of the Phillips Collection in Washington DC. He studied art and began his career at Phillips as a guard.

A 20°F temperature is predicted for tonight so I harvested the Thyme to use in cooking over the winter. I have no idea how to process and store it but I couldn't leave it out in the garden to die.

This is a worm hotel that we used to grow worms to enrich our soil when we first started to garden. The bottom three are filled with castings to go on vegetable beds. Now we have soil-aerating worms everywhere.

'Still Life with Juicer' 😉. You know when you buy a bag of lemons to make a cake and they all have to be used soon? A cheapo juicer comes to the rescue. Just freeze the little containers of juice with a bit of zest in each one.

The Three Shades, August Rodin, 1886. We enjoyed seeing this Rodin yesterday at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. It's on loan from a private collection. Can you imagine what the rest of the private collection holds?
