This #raptor #BirdOfTheDay was sitting above my chicken and duck coop. Smaller than most of my flock, this coopers hawk was soon mobbed by crows and went of its way. One of the many reasons why my domestic flock has an enclosure to keep them safe and to keep wildlife safe.

25 years ago I saw the Athabasca Glacier for the first time and could walk right up to it. Now the only way you can reach it is to pay for a ice truck to drive you there. In front of it, a glacial lake grows 💔
