These are important and enlightening conversations to have with students. It reminds me of some of the responses I have heard when presenting my grade 12s with the inquiry - What is the purpose of education? Images from unlearn often provoke great discussion too.
Composite image of unlearn poster pack #1 that I use for image analysis with Harvard Project Zero Toolbox prompts. Some images work better than others for the "What is the purpose of education?" Inquiry; but, the third image from the left in the second row from the bottom is especially apt as it prompts thinking about the relationships between success, happiness, fortune, and fame...kind of like asking students what an A means anyways.

I am loving teaching #NBE for the first time ever this year. Every day I am honoured and humbled to work with students as we engage with Indigenous voices across many forms of literature. Are there any other #ONEd teachers here in #EduSky teaching #NBE this semester?
