In 2001 paid parental leave in Canada doubled from 6 months to a year. Literally a generation ago. Meanwhile in America…so very very far behind.

Yup. A few teachers secretly held on to a copy or two so they would have a resource to work from rather than creating everything from scratch. Terrible decision. New curriculum. Absolutely no book resources. Repeat again and again.

I remember the last big purchase of Ontario math textbooks. 2001. They were the ones that could be erased.
