My fear for U.S. trans folks is that Musk's merry band will get into the passport database and compile a list of all of us who have changed gender markers over the past 25 years or so.

I would love to see an action like this happen. The last thing Mace et al. expect is a group of muscular, bearded trans-guys in "her" restroom.

I changed my ppt name and gender marker in 2011 and renewed the ppt last year. I'm overseas but flying back later this week. I can't imagine there is a database informing agents at a POE of my ppt history, but I am nervous. Any reports of issues when folks pass through JFK or other POEs?
